- It is important for workplaces that are often considered noisy to conduct a Workcover hearing test to ensure that the conditions of your workplace aren’t affecting your employees hearing.
- All new employees are required to take a baseline hearing test within the first 12 months of their employment, which is regardless of their position or if the employee is wearing hearing protection. This test is best known as the Workcover Hearing Test. It is the employer’s responsibility to ensure that the baseline and subsequent tests are conducted for the employees.
